Bob Prager is a leading expert in immigration bonds and co-founded Action Immigration Bonds and Insurance Services Inc. Bob co-founded the company with his wife, Judy, in 1974, and the two have helped Action Immigration become a leader in immigration bonding throughout the United States. Their company has helped thousands of people throughout the world and they are committed to their clients and their profession. Bob is very active with the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), and has been presenting at AILA conventions on the immigration bail bond process throughout the country for many years. Bob also developed a software program that uses innovative forms of collateral throughout the United States for immigration bonds. This immigration bail bond program can create mortgages through any state right from Action’s home office, and this has changed the landscape in the immigration bond industry, all designed to help you.

Judy Prager

Judy Prager, Vice President

Judy Prager is a compassionate, empathetic person who develops strong relationships with her clients. She loves and enjoys teaching—she taught school children in the early 1970s before co-founding Action Immigration Bonds with her husband, Bob. Judy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Queens College, along with a minor in psychology, and she graduated with Highest Honors. In addition to her strong inter-personal skills, Judy is a phenomenal underwriter and a tireless worker when it comes to protecting her immigration bail bond clients. Her immigration bail skills have been honed by study and experience--the immigration bond process has changed immensely since September 11, 2001, and Judy has stayed on top of all the changes. Judy anticipates problems before they happen, and that helps you. Judy maintains a Fire and Casualty license in the State of California, and also maintains a property and casualty license in many other states.

Jeremy Wolf

Jeremy Wolf, General Manager and CFO

Jeremy is on the forefront of the immigration bond industry and works directly with the immigration Bond Management Unit (BMU) in Washington, D.C. in an effort to automate the immigration bond process. Jeremy graduated from the University of Florida in 2002 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and joined Action Immigration Bonds shortly thereafter. Jeremy was recently named CFO and made part owner of Action Immigration Bonds & Insurance Services, Inc. and will be taking the company over in the near future. Among many other things, Jeremy specializes in dealing with the various Detention and Removal Operations (DRO) offices, bond control specialists, breached or forfeited bonds, removal defense, immigration detention centers and immigration attorneys including members of AILA (American Immigration Lawyers Association). Through years of networking and communicating with the various Governmental entities and attorneys, Jeremy has developed excellent contacts within Homeland Security. Jeremy continuously works directly with the U.S. Government to develop new programs, including E-Bonds, and make improvements on existing Government policy in order to help your loved one faster and more efficiently. Through Jeremy’s extensive network of contacts he can submit a bond request to the government in the morning, get that file transferred to the right place, that same day, and have your loved one out by the afternoon. Jeremy also handles oversees much of the sales and marketing for Action Immigration Bonds and maintains a Fire and Casualty license in the State of California as well as a property and casualty insurance license in more than thirty states.

Maryorie Melgarejo

Maryorie Melgarejo

Maryorie is the Office Manager for Action Immigration Bonds, and joined the company in 2002. Maryorie, originally from Peru, is fluent in both English and Spanish and has recently become a United States citizen! Maryorie’s day-to-day duties include managing the entire office staff, as well as outside posting bail and insurance agents. Our posting agents deliver bond contracts (Form I 352) directly to the Detention and Removal Operations Office handing that particular Alien File. She works closely with each detention and removal office to help expedite the immigration bonding process. Maryorie’s primary goal is to expedite the release of your loved one as quickly as possible. Her close relationships with the various Deportation Officers, Detention and Removal Assistants and Bond Clerks, to name a few, greatly increase the chances of having your loved one home the same day you call. Maryorie is also the primary underwriter for Action and specializes in title searches, recording and risk assessment. Her dedication and training methods have greatly impacted the company and have helped to bring Action to where we are today.

Alex Escobar

Alex Escobar

Alex is the Assistant Manager at Action Immigration Bonds and joined the company in 2003. Alex checks all the bail bonds before they are filed to insure the utmost accuracy. Alex was raised in Colombia and has been living in the United States for 10 years, and is fluent in English and Spanish. Alex has a real passion for the business and enjoys most of all helping people have the chance to live legally in the United States. Alex always goes the extra mile for the client in order to get them released as quickly as possible so that they can ultimately fight their case to stay in the United States. Alex is a licensed bail and property and casualty insurance agent.

Juan Manuel Osorio

Juan Manuel Osorio

Juan joined Action Immigration Bonds in 2008 and is originally from Peru. His attention to detail and his consistent work ethic has recently earned him a promotion to the Night Staff Supervisor. He notifies our clients of upcoming immigration proceedings related to their case. He handles all I 340 (Notice To Appear) demands, reviews all I 323 (Breach Notifications), and specializes in assisting clients in getting their bonds canceled once the case is resolved. Juan works closely with Bond Control Specialists throughout the United States while assisting our clients with Voluntary Departure, breach bond review and other bond related matters. His dedication to customer service and his care for our clients is remarkable. United States Homeland Security Immigration and Customs Enforcement can be difficult to deal with and Juan is an expert liaison to the government. He is the type of person you want on your side when you are in need of help.

Axel Rosario

Axel Rosario

Axel is the Credit Department Manager for Action Immigration Bonds, and joined the company in 2006. Axel deals with the often confusing credit card procedures related to bonds, and works directly with the customers to help find a solution. His calm demeanor helps clients successfully maintain their files in what can be a very stressful time. Axel also has helped the company transition from using paper-based files to a more digital, computerized system. Axel was born in Louisiana and raised in Puerto Rico, and speaks fluent English and Spanish.

Karen Osorio

Karen Osorio

Karen is the Assistant Credit Department Manager for Action Immigration Bonds, and assists Axel in checking all the credit cards and reports, to find a solution as quickly as possible. She works hard to protect the money used to fund the bonds and keep the collateral covered. Karen speaks fluent English and Spanish, and joined the company in 2008. Karen was raised in Peru and came to the United States at age 15, and went to high school in Davie, where she currently resides. Karen is on the phone during much of her work day so you are quite likely to hear her pleasant voice when you call. Karen says her job is challenging but the greatest reward is helping people, doing her best to solve their problems.

Michael joined Action Immigration Bonds in April of 2009. Michael (Mike) has 10 years experience in the insurance industry. He is a Customer Service Specialist and is proving to be wonderful addition to our team. Mike has worked for large insurance firms, such as U.S. Security and Gainsco, and is bringing that big-firm experience to our ever-changing industry. Mike was born in Puerto Rico and grew up in South Florida and is studying for his general insurance license, and speaks fluent English and Spanish.

Ted is the Southeast Regional Director for Action Immigration Bail Bonds, and specializes in immigration bonding. Ted has worked for Action Immigration Bonds for eight years, and has more than 15 years of experience in Immigration, State and Federal bail bonds. Ted excels at educating people on how the immigration bail bond system works, and what it going to require so the immigration bond can be executed smoothly and the loved one can be brought home. Ted is a native Floridian and lives in Miami-Dade County. He served in the Marine Corp. and was honorably discharged, and also worked in law enforcement for the City of Plantation, and has helped thousands of people get out of jail and resume their lives.
