Call Action. Expect Action. Get. Action.

In an instant, I found myself in charge of resolving a horrible situation. The only knowledge that I had about bail bonds is what I recalled from the "King Stahlman's" jingle – Lesson #1, the king does not do immigration bonds! Immigration bonds are not like regular bail bonds. This means that the few agencies that do process them are often unprofessional, rude and tricky when it comes to explaining the fees involved. Finding an actual immigration bond agency was my first obstacle. As my list of twenty or so agencies dwindled down to seven, of those seven, three belonged to a man named "Big Marco", (who was sweet, but demonstrated the urgency of a sloth). Next on my list was the chain-store of immigration bond agencies with representatives that talked down to me and just plain irritated me to no end, (I called back approximately 15 times, only to speak to 15 different representatives who possessed the exact same customer service skills... none!).

Jeremy from Action Bail Bonds was different from the very beginning. He answered the phone and was polite and extremely helpful. His voice was calm and the information that he shared with me was reassuring. The fact that their offices are in Florida actually worked in my favor, being that they are three hours ahead of us, they were able to start that much earlier and submit the bond in time to release my husband within the first 24 hours. Action Immigration Bonds has a new, state-of-the-art system that allows them to submit and track the bonds almost instantaneously.

The courtesy that I received from Jeremy that day was superb! He even called to tell me that he was leaving for the day but that Belkis would be there to help me. She was also very professional. Although Jeremy had gone home for the day, he answered my emails after 11pm that night. The next morning I was greeted with another email letting me know what time I could start calling the office and who to speak to. Margy, the underwriter was also fantastic! She was on the same urgency wave that I was on. Margy ensured that my house was appraised and the documents that she needed were in order. Unless this kind of tragedy befalls on your family, it is hard to explain the overwhelming sense of helplessness and feelings of ignorance.
